Well this is a milestone of a sort… a week ago I left the hospital, feeling tired and ok, riding sort of side saddle in the car all the way home down a windy gusty highway.
This mooring, C went off to the market early for the meat for the week, and cheeses.. there is a soft goat cheese … similar of the consistency of a camembert.. but with far more taste.. she bought some of that.
I made a mushroom cheese omelette with two eggs and found it far too much to eat, luckily C came home at that point and ate most of it. This is December 1st and like my Toronto family , this is the day when they begin to decorate the house for xmas. So there are string of twinkly lights being tested, electric white xmas trees, deers, dog, and others things lit up in various corners. Xmas ornaments..etc. the room looks quite glitzy and fun.
My poor Toronto family are off soon for a funeral of their fathers father. Always a sad buiness, but at least in the roman catholic tradition there will be order to the ceremony.
The other Toronto family are getting ready to go to Victoria for xmas.. it seems very strange, not to be there while they are there.. oh well.
I exercised with the muscle clenching exercise and then walked back and forth , down the hall to the end of the house and back.. a complete step.. (starting with left, ending with right) takes about 14 of those to complete the circuit. Did about 10 return trips when suddenly I was struck with pain and went back to bed with ice pack back and front.. the ice brings immediately relief.
J and C have gone cross country skiing.
I can see the chickens from my bedroom window, they live a wonderful life altho Anna would love to devour them she is not allowed out without a lead while the chicks are wandering.
have to listening to Beethovens Ode to Joy.. the children are learning in on the piano and the saxophone.. there are some wonderful videos , one of them sponsored bu a spanish bank.
