Woke this morning to sunshine.. such a nice change altho it only lasted about an hour before the fog swelled up again.. you certainly would not drive your boat in this and car driving is very slow.. one of the few things which slows french drivers.
We spent the morning exercising .. me doing the physio route and C on her various machines in the basement.
Then we went to another mall for santa stocking stuffer things… We then decided that we needed lunch but in the sunshine so we went up , up and up, so that we left the fog behind and ate at a restaurant called the joli bois… and for 17 eruos each we had..3 courses..Me, smoked trout salad, then a huge pot of mussels with frites, then a vacherin.. ( a meringue ice cream dessert) C had a terrine of rabbit pate, the mussels and frites and a lemon tart .. all delicious.. BUT best of all
we were in the sunshine.. could see mont blanc as clear as day..
five minutes driving down the hill we were back into thick thick thick fog.. trucks loomed up, you lost the tail lights of the vehicle in front in less than 100 metres.
Went and had coffee with a friend who has a puppy samoyed.. Anna is very tolerant of the pup..
all in all.. a good day on one pain killer.
